These shoes have worked well for my road bike. I did have a little trouble attaching the left cleat due to the threaded insert being too low, but I was able to make it work.

The inflexibility of the sole really feels great after a long time riding using athletic shoes. My feet used to hurt following a commuter ride, not to mention a several hour trip. I'm using Shimano cleats and pedals, and have no issues with adjusting using a small hex wrench. Cleats attach using standard hardware, nothing special. I don't see any potential to needing longer bolts as I found mentioned on other sites. As with most SIDI products, individual components are replaceable if there is ever a need. Only one general caution - always do a pre-trip check and tighten your cleats and pedals.
